Scheduled Maintenance
Oracle will be performing maintenance on the Exadata Cloud at Customer hardware. There will be rolling restarts during this maintenance so while the database will remain available, any applications that are not compatible with rolling restarts will need to be shut down including AppMan. Preparations will begin at 8:30, and the maintenance will start at 9 am. Performance may be degraded while the maintenance is in process.

Scheduled - We received the approval to apply FAID upgrades (FIN AID 8.48.1/ 8.48.1.1/9.3.42) to PROD.

We will use the maintenance window this Sunday, 05/05, to apply those upgrades. The maintenance time will be 8:00 AM—10:30 AM, and the impacted services are Admin Pages/ Application Navigator and BAM (Banner Access Management).

Scheduled - The Education Building will have it's MDF to core links upgraded to 10G, as well as have a building router installed. All networks will be moved from core to new building router. The building will not have connectivity for the majority of the outage window.

Scheduled - The Division of IT has scheduled maintenance for the F5 load balancers. Production traffic will not be affected by this maintenance. A pause in traffic for a second or two while sessions are failed over to the backup load balancer is expected.

Resolved - Support was able to help us resolve the issue. Transfers through auto-attendants are working again.

Identified - Sipx Phone System is currently experiencing an issue transferring through auto-attendants.

The Division of IT is working on a resolution.

Transfers through any auto-attendants located on sipx are impacted. A user calls in, selects an option and then gets dropped. We are aware and are escalating the issue to support. People migrated to Teams are not impacted.

Technical Note: Some records in mongo are likely missing.

Work arounds:
Short term - There is none. Please open a helpdesk ticket with the number of the affected auto-attendant so we can verify it's fixed once it is and so we have a measurement of scope of impact.
Long term - Migrate off Sipx. This is a fantastic example of why we have been trying to push the migration to teams.
