Boomi Runtime and API Gateway Maintenance Mar 30, 2024 08:00-11:30 MDT
We will be performing maintenance on the underlying hosts of our Boomi runtime environment. We will start at 8:00 AM and aim to be done by 11:30 AM. Some functions of Banner Admin Pages and Electronic Forms will not be available during this maintenance activity.

Scheduled - We plan to install FAID upgrades, requiring redeployment of Admin Pages. Additionally, CSU mods for Faculty Grade Entry will be deployed, impacting Faculty Self Service. Expect downtime for both Admin Pages and Faculty Self Service.

Resolved - The issue with logging into the Talent Management System (TMS) and the Effort Certification & Reporting Technology (ECRT) has been resolved. All systems are functioning normally. Thank you for your patience and support during this incident.

Update - The authentication issue with the Talent Management System (TMS) has been resolved and users can now log in. We are continuing to work with the vendor to resolve the issue with the Effort Certification & Reporting Technology (ECRT).

We will send an additional update to confirm when the incident has been fully resolved.

Identified - Several services, including the Talent Management System (TMS) and the Effort Certification & Reporting Technology (ECRT) are currently experiencing authentication errors due to a vendor issue.

The Division of IT is working with the vendor on a resolution.

Users attempting to login to these systems will most likely receive an "Unsupported Request" error.

Scheduled - Oracle will be performing maintenance on the Exadata Cloud at Customer hardware. There will be rolling restarts during this maintenance so while the database will remain available, any applications that are not compatible with rolling restarts will need to be shut down including AppMan. Preparations will begin at 8:30, and the maintenance will start at 9 am. Performance may be degraded while the maintenance is in process.

Resolved - This appears to be an F5 Load Balancer issue and have asked the network team to reach out to the vendor for support. Shibboleth has been up and stable since resolution and are resolving this particular incident.

Scheduled - We’ll update the F5 certs which control the traffic flow for our EEID clusters in BANPROD. This will take approximately 2 hours starting at 8AM MST on Sunday. This will cause downtime for Admin Pages and Banner SSB applications for the 2 hours (8:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
